Changing business conditions require General Dynamics Itronix Corporation (GD-Itronix) to evaluate its business strategies and adjust its direction accordingly. After performing a thorough analysis of our service/ repair business, GD-Itronix has made a decision to cease operations in 2013. To support our existing customers and honor our legacy warranty commitments, GD-Itronix has entered into an agreement with Flextronics to transfer the service of all Itronix products, including Tadpole products, along with all outstanding warranty obligations and service level agreements (SLAs) to Flextronics.
Flextronics, a global leader in distribution and after-market services, has been repairing the majority of GD-Itronix products for the past five years. By entering into this agreement, Flextronics will now take on the active role of being the primary point of contact for all repair and service, both in and out of warranty. We anticipate this transition will have little or no impact to our customers. Customers will continue shipping units requiring repair to their designated repair centers in the United States, Canada, and EMEA.

GD-Itronix has entered into this agreement to ensure all outstanding warranty and SLA commitments are honored through the end of the applicable warranty period.
